If you know someone who is always hitting the gym, or juicing fresh vegetables, making green smoothies, and doing lots of other healthy living, then you are probably wondering about the best type of Christmas gifts for them. Health nuts are actually pretty easy to shop for. They love Christmas gifts that are things that are healthy. This includes blenders, juicers, dehydrators, and lots of other things that make it easy to live healthy, eat clean, or maximize your time in the kitchen.
One word of advice when buying Christmas gifts for healthy nuts is to not get vitamins, pills, protein or other supplements. People, especially health nuts who are at the gym and focus on their diet, are very picky about what they take. So, you don’t want to get them a big container of, say, Whey Protein if it’s the wrong flavor or worse, they prefer a vegetable protein powder like VegaSport.
With that said, there are lots of really cool gift ideas. Below I’ve listed a bunch of different gifts for health nuts. Some of them are really affordable, so they make great stocking suffers or good picks for people on a budget. Then there are some bigger price ticket items.
Shaker Bottle: BPA Free With Wire Ball Insert
Ok, so your favorite health nut is going to have a shaker bottle, but they can always use another. After a while, shaker bottles get worn out and it’s always good to get a replacement. Plus, if you don’t really clean out the shaker bottle every time you are don’t it will stink and need to be washed out with soap and water really thoroughly. Lots of health nuts, especially those that hit the gym, end up leaving their shaker bottle ot. The protein (whey) really smells when it dries out in the bottle. This means they have a shaker bottle that can’t be used again until it’s cleaned up. So, an extra one is always welcome.
This is an excellent shaker bottle. It’s BPA free (that’s harmful chemical that can leach into beverages, so the best shaker bottles are BPA freee). It also has a cool little whisking ball insert. These whisker balls are used to help mix up the whey protein. When people make protein shakes, sometimes the whey can get clumped together, especially if the person uses cold water and not room temperature water, so these whisking balls are awesome. This shaker also has small compartments to store vitamins, amino acids, or herb capsules. They come in lots of different colors.
You can get the shaker from Amazon.
Waterproof Headphones : Handles Rain and Sweat
Health nuts love to go out running, biking, or jogging no matter the weather. While most people might stay in, they are outside exercising. One of the main problems with exercising in the rain is that your headphones can get wet. Sweat is another problem to think about, it too can ruin regular earbuds. So, you might like to get them headphones that have been designed to handle sweat and rain.
Grow Your Own Wheatgrass At Home
If you spend any time talking to a health nut you will eventually hear them extolling the virtues of wheatgrass juice. Many seem to think it’s the elixir to cure all ills. Not to say that they are wrong, because Wheatgrass is unhealthy, it’s just that they will talk about wheatgrass a lot! One of the problems with wheatgrass is that it is kinda of expensive when you buy it at a juice bar. That’s why they will love these wheatgrass kits. They can set them up in their kitchen window (they are great for people with small apartments who can’t grow most vegetables because all you need is a small sized tray) and then in a while they will have fresh organic wheatgrass.
The kit has everything except for the juicer. If you know for sure that they don’t have a juicer, you could always get them a manual wheatgrass juicer. These are way more affordable than the big masticating juicers. I prefer the big masticating juicers like the one Omega makes, but if you don’t feel like buying an expensive gift, then this wheatgrass kit and maybe a hand cranked manual wheatgrass juicer would be a super cool gift they will love.
