Best Single Serve Smoothie Blender

You don’t always need to make a large pitchers worth of a power smoothie! Sometimes you only need a single serve size. And it makes sense from a financial perspective. Making a large batch of green smoothies or fruit smoothies, will add up over time.

If you are constantly making large smoothies in your blender, but then either throwing out the excess or else keeping them in the fridge, then you’re not getting the best health benefits or the best bang for your buck.

Smoothies are best served fresh.

That’s because nutrients tend to diminish over time. And then there’s the problem of saving them in your fridge. How often have you made a large smoothie and then forgotten about it so that it ends up going bad? Waste of money!

The solution is to get a small blender that is designed for making single serve smoothies. So what I’ve done here is outlined some of the best single serve smoothies that you can buy online. These are a bit different than small countertop blenders, the single serve blenders are smaller and more compact. Here’s my picks.

I’ve updated this for 2022 with some new details and helpful tips for people looking to get health. Since this post is going to be updated around the Holidays, I figure some people might be looking to get into shape after the new year, and a small personal blender is a great way to do that.

I’ll start with the Ninja brand, since that is one of the best sellers and many people have heard about it and are curious.

I also removed a blender from the list that no longer is as stronlgy prefered…so on with the show.

Ninja Brand : #1 Single Serve Smoothie Blender

My pick for the number one single serve blender is this one.

I admit it, I’m a fan of the Ninja brand. They make some really quality blenders and at a price point that most people find affordable. Also, in addition to being affordable, they are really durable. This is my pick for anyone who wants to make smoothies, but doesn’t need to make more than one at a time.

Nutribullet NBR-1201- 2nd Best Single Serve Smoothie Blender

This is a super popular and one of the bese reviewed single serve blenders.

Another option, and one that I’m almost a big a fan of as the Ninja, is the Nutribullet NBR Single Serve. The one thing that you have to remember is that Nutribullet is the original brand behind the whole concept of a single serve blender.

Before Nutribullet, all you had were the large blenders such as Vitamix. That’s where Nutribullet saw an opening and came into the market with the single serve design. The one you see here is popular and one of the most highly reviewed models on Amazon.

  • Simple to Operate
  • Easy to Clean

Single Servie Blenders: General Things to Look For

When you are buying a single serve blender, it’s a good idea to make sure it checks off a few catogires.

The first one is size. You don’t want to have a large blender if you’re only making single servings. That is a waste of counterspace as well as a waste of ingredients. Smaller blenders such as the ones I’ve mentioned above are good options.

The second thing to look for is how easy the blender is to clean. If you are the type of person who wants to use your dishwasher to clean a blender, then make sure it’s dishwasher safe. Ninja blenders are dishwasher safe, and so are some nutribullets, but it is important to always check the veribage on the official Amazon page when buying.

Finally, you need a blender to make smoothies, you can’t make them with a juicer or any other piece of kitchen equipment. So my advice would be to get an actuall blender, not just try and work around it and use a juicer or food processor since it won’t work.
