Three Reasons A Smaller Blender is Better Than a Larger One

Larger isn’t always better when it comes to blenders. There are plenty of reasons why you would want to buy a smaller blender. It’s not always necessary to spend money on a large and pricey blender. Some people need a large blender but that’s not everyone.

What I’m doing here is reviewing what you exactly need when it comes to blending. We’ll also think about why you’d even need a large blender and if you could get away with using a smaller blender.

A good small blender is oftentimes what you need, even if the commercials and other marketing promotional materials suggest otherwise.

Smaller Blenders Save You Space

So, the first reason you might want a smaller blender is that it will save you space. If you live in an apartment and don’t have a large kitchen, then you’re going to want to save on the space needed  for your blender.

A large blender will take up a lot of space. There’s always the option of storing the blender away in a cabinet –but that’s going to make blending difficult. You don’t want to have any difficulty when it comes to making your smoothies or using a blender. Hiding it in a cabinet is going to make you less likely to use it.

Also, let’s say you do want to store the blender in a cabinet, well if it’s a smaller blender it will fit much easier and take up less space. The larger blenders take up more space even in a cabinet.

But the best approach is to decide if you have the room for a smaller blender that will stay outside on your kitchen table. A smaller kitchen table is going to be a better designed table for all intents and purposes.

It’s a simple fact of saving you space. The amount of space you need for a smaller blender is simply much less than what you need for a larger blender. Larger blenders require a bigger table and a larger footprint.

So, for most people who have limited counter space, I’d recommend that they use a small blender.

If you get a good bullet blender such as a Nutribullet or another brand then you’ll be able to do everything from blending smoothies to grinding coffee beans.

You Can Make A Single Serve Blender Easier

In addition to saving space on your table, there are other reasons to get a smaller blender.

Once thing that I like to stress to people when they’re getting a blender is that you need to have one that can make smoothies that you like and will use.

If you’re someone who wants to make a single serving smoothie, then a huge blender such as a Vitamix isn’t necessary.

For anyone who is interested in a single serve smoothie, a nutribullet or some other type of blender is preferable to a large blender.

The smaller blenders are actually better at making a single serving of a smoothie. For anyone who only wants to make a single smoothie there’s no better device to use than a small bullet blender. You can make all sorts of things with a smaller blender–if you’re looking for a list of everything you need for a smoothie then you can read up on this article I posted a while ago.

If you’re someone who wants to make a fruit smoothie with protein powder before you leave for work in the morning, or after your workout, then a smaller blender is better than a large one—less clean up and it’s easier to use.

Smaller Blenders Cost Less Money

Here’s where we talk numbers: smaller blenders just cost less money. And you are not sacrificing quality for price.

When you buy a cheap full size blender you’re not going to get a quality product. The best blenders (Vitamix, BlendTec) are more expensive for a reason.

A really good blender is going to be a good investment. It’s better to save money in the long run by investing in a well made blender than saving a small bit of money in the short run.

Smaller blenders are not as expensive as the large model blenders and make a better choice for most people.
